Draft text. This policy is prepared for legal review and completion of company details before publication. It is not the final policy in force and is not, by itself, a declaration of legal compliance.

1. Scope and data controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the duzeltech.com.tr homepage, its Turkish and English pages, the PDF Editor served under /pdf, and related contact channels. The 1MIN application has its own privacy policy; a link is provided in the footer.

For the purposes of Turkish data protection law (KVKK), the data controller is Duzeltech. For questions about data processing, contact bulentduzel@hotmail.com or info@duzeltech.com.tr. The registered address, legal entity details and any representative information will be completed before publication.

2. Summary

  • PDF files you choose in the PDF Editor are processed locally in your browser; they are not uploaded to Duzeltech servers.
  • You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or phone number to use the site.
  • We receive contact details and message content only when you write to us.
  • Limited technical logs may be kept for hosting, security and troubleshooting.
  • Google AdSense is being prepared. Personalised advertising is not intended to be enabled without an approved publisher account and the required consent mechanism.
  • No Google Analytics or similar site analytics service is currently active.

3. Data we process

3.1. Technical access and server logs

When the site is served, the hosting infrastructure may process standard technical data such as your IP address, date and time, requested page or file, referring URL, browser and operating system information (user-agent), HTTP status and error records. This data is used for security, troubleshooting and service continuity.

3.2. Contact data

When you email us, we process your name, email address, message and any information you attach. This is used only to answer your request, provide support and keep records where required.

3.3. PDF files and editing data

Files you load into the PDF Editor, page operations, text and images you add, and downloaded outputs are processed in browser memory. They are not sent to a Duzeltech server, stored on a server, or viewed by us. See section 5 for details.

3.4. Preference and cookie data

A functional cookie named NEXT_LOCALE may be used to remember the interface language in the PDF Editor. See the Cookie Policy for advertising and cookie categories.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Personal data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

  • Providing and securing the service: operating the site, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors and protecting infrastructure. Legitimate interests under KVKK Art. 5/2(f) and GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).
  • Communication and support: responding to your request and managing support. Depending on the request, performance of a contract or legitimate interests.
  • Legal obligations: responding to lawful requests from authorities and maintaining mandatory records.
  • Advertising and measurement: explicit consent where required; legitimate interests for limited technical operations that do not require consent. Applicable law and Google policies apply before advertising is enabled.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it later. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. PDF Editor and local processing

The PDF Editor processes PDFs in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. During editing, the selected file exists only in your device's browser memory. It is not transmitted to a server for merging, splitting, rotating, adding text or images, or saving. No persistent file is created unless you choose to download the output.

This design prevents Duzeltech from seeing the contents of your file. However, browser extensions, device-management software, operating-system features or third-party services you use may process data under their own policies. Duzeltech does not control those tools.

Closing the browser tab or reloading the page will generally discard unsaved working data for that session. Any downloaded file is stored on your device according to your browser settings.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies

No Google Analytics or similar analytics service is currently active. The hosting provider may keep technical logs for security and service continuity. See the Cookie Policy for the detailed cookie inventory and controls.

Google AdSense integration is being prepared. No ad units are active, although the Google publisher script may load in the pre-publication environment for technical testing. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may process data such as IP address, approximate location, device and browser information, ad interactions and cookie identifiers under their own policies.

Personalised ads and marketing cookies will be used only after the required consent mechanism is in place. Without consent, personalised advertising should not be shown; this does not necessarily mean that no ads will be shown at all. You can use browser ad blockers or Google Ad Settings to limit advertising.

7. Google AdSense, consent management and international transfers

Google AdSense is an advertising service provided by Google LLC and its affiliates. Google's processing is governed by its own privacy and advertising policies. In some cases Google may act as an independent data controller. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising technologies pages.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: where Google requires it, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) must be used for personalised advertising and certain cookies. No CMP is configured in this environment yet. Personalised advertising is therefore not intended to be enabled in those regions. This page is not a consent tool, and no claim is made that consent has already been collected.

If Google services are used, data may be transferred outside Türkiye and the EEA. Such transfers are assessed under Google's terms, standard contractual clauses and the safeguards required by applicable law. The legal conditions for international transfers will be reviewed again before publication.

8. Sharing and recipients

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only as necessary to provide the service with:

  • Hosting, network and security providers (technical infrastructure and logs).
  • Google and relevant advertising ecosystem parties when ads are enabled.
  • Competent public authorities and courts where legally required.
  • Persons or organisations you explicitly authorise.

Service providers process data only for the assigned task and under contractual safeguards. For some advertising processing, Google may act under its own responsibility.

9. Retention and security

Server logs are kept only for the limited period needed for security and troubleshooting; the exact period depends on the hosting configuration and legal obligations. Contact data is kept after a request is resolved only for as long as necessary and for mandatory record periods. Because PDF files are not stored on our servers, we have no server-side retention period for PDF content. Retention of advertising data processed by Google is governed by Google's policies.

We apply administrative and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No internet transmission or storage method is completely risk-free, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your rights

Under KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information, request correction, deletion or destruction, restrict processing, object, and request data portability. You may also withdraw consent.

Send requests to bulentduzel@hotmail.com or info@duzeltech.com.tr. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity. You retain the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or the competent data protection authority in your country. For data processed by Google, use Google's data subject request channels.

11. Children and third-party links

The site is not specifically directed at children and is not intended to knowingly collect children's personal data. If you believe a child's data has been processed without permission, contact us and we will review the matter.

The site may link to 1MIN, Google and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review the relevant policy before using a linked service.

12. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when services, legislation or advertising infrastructure change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date. We aim to use a reasonable notification method for significant changes.
